Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of factory machinery, food processing equipment, walls, floors, conveyors, trays, racks and hand wash stations.
- Handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Monitor chemical usage and ensure adherence to PPE and chemical handling procedures
- Operating cleaning machinery and equipment (including sweepers and blowers).
- Operating safely within OH&S Regulations and food safe work practices
- General housekeeping duties and rubbish disposal.
- Delivery exceptional detailed cleaning quality and results.
- Maintaining and filing records.
- Work in a refrigerated environment (average 2.5 degrees)
- A safety-first approach to your work to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
Reports to: Hygiene Team Leader
Rate of Pay: Casual Mon-Sat Rate: $36.22 per hour (7pm-7am). Sunday Rate paid after 12pm Sat evening: $43.72 per hour
Rostered Hours/Days: Wed 10pm-4am, Thus 10pm-4am, Fri 11.30pm-6am, Sat 10.30pm-5am. NB: Rostered hours will alter depending on the needs of the business.
Uniform: Wet weather top, pants and boots will be provided
